Best pies bar none!! Also their pumpkin bars are heavenly. I have been a customer of theirs for many many years and they never disappoint.

This bakery has the greatest pies you'll ever eat! So many selections to choose from. If you like cream type pies get the Bayou Goo. It is to die for. Yum!

Genuinely haven't had something so yummy in years. I tried the savory kolaches and the lemon bar and it blew my mind. The lemon bar was great (I would recommend more lemon zest if anything) and the perfect level of sweet for me. Many places add too much sugar or filling but this was perfect. The bread around the kolaches are delicious and buttery with a really nice chew. Definitely going to make trips to come up here in the future.

Occasionally a person just needs some dense rich carrot cake eith cream cheese frosting. Carrot cake is a unique item in that it is difficult to make from scratch. There is a box mix only resembling the cake by the title on the box. There are the big store bakeries who truck their version from some unknown chemical kitchen bakery.. Then there is Kathy's, rich with coconut, carrots, pecans and cream cheese frosting. It's your choice. I made mine @ Kathy's

Due to Covid we had to stay home this Thanksgiving, but Kathy's Pies came to the rescue. We ordered a pumpkin and a French silk. Both of the pies were delicious and we can't wait to try the other goodies.

Working in Cedar Rapids with a large group and we were looking to find a place that specialized in desserts. That place is Kathy's Pies. Great selection of pies, cheesecakes and other goodies. We brought a total of 15 pies over the course of two visits. Nothing disappointed. They were all delicious!! Tired berry, apple, pecan, key lime, banana cream, chocolate and a few others. All very tasty. This was a great find. Pies are reasonably priced. If you have never tried Kathy's Pies, you should. A little something for everyone. There are even sugar free pies. This is the place to go for dessert!!

I have only stopped to Kathy's once but I was very happy with the whole experience! The people that worked there were so friendly and pleasant that it might be worth a stop just to get to out of a bad mood or if you need a pick me up! I have to admit at first glance I thought their selection was a bit lower than I expected, but I really don't know enough about the place to determine if most products are pre-ordered or if they do more catering. BUT what they had was excellent! The cookies I bought were delicious and the pumpkin bars are the type to make me drive 5 hours from my hometown to get another! Want to get a pie next time!
